The foundation of dance

Classical ballet is the foundation of Mosman Dance Academy’s dance training. Students of the academy have achieved excellent results in examinations and eisteddfods with a number of students accepted into the Australian Ballet School Interstate Training and Full-time programme.

Mosman Dance Academy teaches classical technique with an emphasis on Russian style similar to that taught in many international companies including the Australian Ballet. We currently utilise the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus for examinations. Our Ballet training begins at pre-school level through to grade 5, continuing to vocational grades.

Experience is not required to begin ballet classes and we cater for dancers who enjoy recreational ballet as well as those with a view to pursuing a professional career.
