MDA's Pre-Primary classical ballet programme introduces the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and continues the development of ballet technique as new steps are introduced to challenge and extend our young dancers. Our classes are always kept fun and creative keeping your dancer in love with ballet.
Dancers in Pre-Primary ballet have the opportunity to participate in our annual concert held in November.

Primary Ballet
Ages 5 to 6 years
MDA’s Primary ballet programme follows the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus offering dancers the correct foundation for future development. In Primary ballet, students develop the physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality using a range of sounds and musical styles. MDA's classes teach correct ballet technique and creatively engage young dancers, achieving a perfect balance of fun and learning.

Pre-School Ballet
Ages 3 to 4 years
MDA's Pre-School classical ballet programme is a beautiful introduction to the wonderful world of ballet and dance. Each class is a gorgeous and fun way for little ballerinas to explore ballet with the right balance between structure and creativity. Dancers will learn proper ballet steps and positions developing a quality foundation to move up to the Pre-Primary level. Each lesson is a perfect 30 minutes keeping your little dancer joyfully engaged.

Jazz
Pre-School & Pre-Primary Jazz
Ages 3 to 4 years
Our Pre-School and Pre-Primary Jazz classes are specifically designed to appeal to both girls and boys and focuses on introducing basic dancing skills developing their coordination, rhythm skills, social skills and musicality. Jazz is a great free movement class for dancers to express themselves to some funky music and just have some fun!

Pre-Junior Jazz
Ages 4 to 6 years
In MDA's jazz classes dancers learn funky age appropriate routines with a technical focus. Jazz is a great free movement class for dancers after a ballet class and builds dancer presence, awareness and confidence. Our classes focus on developing the students skills, coordination, rhythm, and musicality.
