30th November – MDA stars dance in 'The Sleeping Beauty'
Congratulations to MDA's Australian Ballet School associates Arisa, Naomi and Tess who were invited to perform in the Australian Ballet Company's 'The Sleeping Beauty'. The girls have a busy season and are part of the cast for opening and closing night! Season starts Friday December 4. Visit The Australian Ballet Company for details.
29th November – MDA on channel 10 in 'Dance of the Champions'
22th November – Glenn Wood Tap Exams
Good luck to all our tap students undertaking MDA's first ever Glenn Wood Tap exam on December 6. You were all fabulous today in your Mock examination.
September 2009
27th September – Dance of Champions
At this years Sydney Eisteddfod, MDA's two Classical Ballet groups (10 & 12 years) won their sections and qualified for 'Dance of the Champions'. This years 'Dance of the Champions' was filmed and will be made into a one hour TV special! Our dancers were beautiful and danced perfectly (as you will see on TV!). Keep an eye on our website for the date when 'Dance of the Champions' will be aired on channel TEN.

21st September – New Australian Ballet School ITP Associates
Congratulations to MDA's new Australian Ballet School Interstate Junior Programme Associates: Miss Emily, Miss Georgia and Miss Phoebe. These girls will join Zoe, Arisa, Naomi, Tess and Perry who have already been attending the Australian Ballet School.
20th September – Four finalists at SODA
Congratulations to all our beautiful dancers who entered this years Society of Dance Arts competition. MDA's Madelaine, Sasha, Tess and Zoe were 4 of 8 finalists in the Junior section of 67 competitors, a fanastic result. Congratulations to Miss Tess who placed 3rd.

22nd August – Double gold at Sydney Eisteddfod!!!
MDA's Classical Ballet Groups had a very exciting day of performances at Sydney Eisteddfod. After a beautiful and very polished dance, the 10yrs Classical Ballet Group were announced as the winners of the section. This was followed shortly after by the 12yrs Classical Ballet Group who were also announced as winners!
MDA's 12yrs Classical Ballet Group has won Sydney Eisteddod for two years running!
Our 10yrs Group has won Northern Beaches, Extreme and Sydney Eisteddfods this year.
