17th July – MDA Website launch
It’s finally here! Mosman Dance Academy’s website features info on all our classes, downloadable timetables, news, events and more. A member sign in section is on the way for dancers of the academy.
16th July – Vanessa from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ at MDA
Thank you to Vanessa Sew Hoy for guest teaching at MDA’s Winter Holiday School. Everyone had a great time and we hope to see you soon. “We love you Vanessa, thanks for teaching us!”.
14th July – Vivienne & Madeline Wong at MDA
Dancing sisters Vivienne Wong (Australian Ballet Company) and Madeline Wong (Grande Theatre de Geneve) guest teach classes for senior at MDA’s winter school. Thank you to both sisters for giving up their time off, we all had a fantastic time!
5rd July – 3 more Pre-School classes added!!!
Due to huge demand, MDA has added three extra pre-school classes for term 3. The response to our pre-school classes has been amazing and we are so happy our young dancers are enjoying and learning dance! Check our TIMETABLES for more info.

1st July – Business Awards FINALIST!
Mosman Dance Academy is a FINALIST of the Truelocal Mosman Daily Business Awards for the second year running. Congratulations to all our teachers, staff and customers for making MDA such a great place!

26th June – Miss Rebecca in the USA
Miss Rebecca is taking off for the USA where she will be taking classes with world-renowned contemporary choreographer Mia Michaels. Have an awesome time and see you when you get back!
23rd June – RAD graded exams finished
Congratulations to all our Ballet exam girls from Primary to Grade 4 for completing their Royal Academy of Dance examinations. You all worked very well and we hope you had a fun day!
14th June – Extreme Eisteddfod Soloist Results

Congratulations 12 & 14 years Classical Ballet groups for their fantastic result, 1st place at Extreme Eisteddfod.
12th June – Classes start for Sally’s Place
The Thursday toddler and pre-school children of Sally’s Place day care centre, now have a regular excursion to Mosman Dance Academy studios for a fun new dance class.
9th June – Inner West Eisteddfod
Congratulations to Charlotte, 2nd place in the 11yrs Demi-Character Solo at the Inner West Eisteddfod.
3rd June – More Pre-School classes added

April 2008
26th April – Open day at new studios!
Hundreds turn out to see the opening of the new studios at George’s Heights, Mosman. The reaction is fantastic and the new location is an instant hit! Young dancers and their parents also take part in Ballet, Hip Hop and Bollywood classes.
12th April – Last day of classes at Spit Road.
After almost 4 years, MDA says goodbye to their Spit Road location. MDA started with one room in 2004 and during this time converted 4 more rooms into studios and reception space. “The opportunity here has been fantastic, now we move on to bigger and better things for our dancers”.
9th April – Renovation works begin!
With two and a half weeks until open day, our team of renovators have their work cut out for them. Studio works include: new sliding doors, glass partitioning, sound system installation, signage, shop fit out, installation of dance floor, mirrors and barres.
1st April – It’s official we’re on the move.
Mosman Dance Academy will officially move at the end of term 1 after finding the most amazing location for our fantastic dance school.

30th March – Isobel Anderson Awards
Congratulations Zoe for making it to the finals of the RAD Isobel Anderson Awards and receiving the encouragement award for the Intermediate Foundation grade.
